But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
1 Peter 2:9
We invite you to become involved in the dynamic Worship Ministry of First Baptist Opelika! Those involved in the Worship Ministry have a common purpose: to exalt the name of Jesus by leading God’s people in a time of genuine worship, to communicate God’s saving grace to the lost, and to encourage the hearts of believers. The people of First Baptist Opelika are enthusiastically encouraged to use their spiritual and musical gifts to bring glory to God. We offer a variety of opportunities available for you to both serve and experience Jesus Christ, while at the same time growing closer in fellowship with one another.
Our Adult Choir leads worship at the 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. services in The Worship Center under the direction of Bruce Hill, Worship Pastor.
