Biscuits and Bible Study | M
Led by Dr. Jeff Meyers
Ongoing | Man Cave |
Doors will open at 6:15am for biscuits and coffee.
The Bible study will begin at 6:30am and will conclude by 7:15am.
Pastor Jeff will begin his study with the book of Titus where Paul addresses the importance of faithfulness in the face of hardship and false teaching. Proper church leadership is addressed along with practical living such as integrity, self-control, and service to others.
Pastor Jeff will then teach a verse-by-verse study of the book of 2 Timothy where Paul addresses the importance of faithfulness in the face of hardship and false teaching. This book may well be the most personal of Paul’s letters, composed during his final imprisonment in Rome. He addresses perseverance in faith, faithfulness to sound doctrine, endurance under suffering, and the centrality and inspiration of Scripture. Bible only. No registration needed.

Led by Chico Grider

2 Thessalonians, March 17 - April 14
Don't be confused about "the Day of the Lord." The Thessalonians were interested in the end times, just as we are today. But they were confused until they received this letter from Paul.
You will need to order your own book(s). They are only available through Precept Ministries. We recommend ordering both together to have only one shipping charge. Ordering both books with shipping and tax was $44.00. Economy shipping takes around 10 days, so order accordingly.
Be sure to choose the Precept upon Precept option and not the In and Out option. Also, choose either NASB or ESV for your Bible translation.

James: The Practical Aspects of Christian Conduct | C
Led by Dr. Paul Spargo
January 7 – April 15 | 6:30-7:30pm | Room 317
The book of James is a “how to” manual on the Christian faith. James did not focus his attention on the doctrine of Christ, but on the duty of the Christian. He was not so much interested in creed, but conduct. The focus of the book of James is how your beliefs should affect your behavior. This verse-by- verse Bible study will look at the book of James as we explore how to overcome temptation, how to read the Bible, how to treat people, how to control your tongue, how to avoid arguments, and a host of other down-to-earth issues, which confront believers on a daily basis.
