Women

Grow. Gather. Go.

We desire to see women connect with the Lord Jesus Christ and the FBCO church family in 3 ways. To see them GROW in their relationship with the Lord through studying scripture and growing in discipleship, to GATHER for times of fellowship, community, and equipping, and finally to GO into the world equipped and confident in pointing others towards Christ and his love.

There is no need we will face in parenting – or that our kids will confront in their lives - that God has not already thought of and provided for in his Word. And there can be no greater privilege than partnering with Him through our prayers to accomplish His best purposes in the lives of the people we love. Praying the Scriptures for Your Children teaches you how and what to pray for your child(ren) regarding their faith, character, safety, relationships, future, and more. In Praying the Scriptures for Your Adult Children, the author shares prayers designed with your adult children in mind, whether they're just leaving the nest, flying well on their own, or struggling to take off at all. Join us as mothers or grandmothers to pray for your children or grandchildren whether young or old. Purchase appropriate book online.

Abide, by Jen Wilkin

Led by Martha Tabor and Mary Winkler

Tuesday Mornings

September 12 - November 14

Room 137 |  9:30-11:15 a.m.

How can we hold onto assurance of our faith? How can we discern the truth from a lie? How can we know God loves us? In three short letters, the apostle John reminds an early church facing division, deception, and doubt to hold fast to what they know and to live like they believe it. And he reminds us, as well. In this 10-session Bible study on the letters of 1, 2, and 3 John, Jen Wilkin helps you see how two thousand years later, his words call to Christians in similar challenges to recall a great salvation and to abide in the truth. Purchase book online.

Daniel Part 1 - In & Out, Living Out a Biblical Worldview, by Precepts Ministries

Led by Beth Redden and Sandy Speakman

Wednesday Mornings

September 6 – October 25 | Room 137 |  9:45 a.m.

Threatened with death, Daniel stuck to his guns and refused to adopt a pagan lifestyle. His worldview had God at the center and he lived it out even under extreme pressure to change. Learn to adopt a biblical worldview and adhere to it even when it's not the norm. Purchase the Daniel Part 1-In & Out Workbook (ESV) at https://shop.precept.org/collections/daniel-in-out-esv/products/daniel-part-1-in-out-workbook-esv-2.
