Joanne Gordon

Joanne Gordon has served as the Assistant to Pastoral Care since 2024. Born and raised in Australia, Joanne graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Education and Library Science. She and her husband Terry, a retired U.S. Navy Chaplain, ministered to Sailors, Marines, and their families for over 30 years, while raising three children of their own. After turning 14 houses into homes, both overseas and in the USA, the Gordons are thrilled to finally have their “forever home” in Opelika. In her spare time, Joanne loves baking as well as reading Christian fiction and any Australian novel she can find.
