ROCK THE BLOCK
For the first time at FBCO, we are introducing Rock the Block!! Rock the Block is designed to help you engage with families in your community to show them the love of Christ! Rock the Block will be a Saturday event in the weeks leading up to Easter throughout neighborhoods like Bent Creek, Crestview, Northbrook, Moore’s Mill, Wright’s Mill, and the entire Opelika-Auburn area – where First Baptist families live. Rock the Block gives our church family opportunities to reach families where the Lord has already strategically placed them.
Rock the Block Easter will run for 2-3 hours one Saturday. Each host decides which Saturday and what hours will work for them and their helpers. Teams are made up of hosts and helpers that can be families from their Sunday school classes or other First Baptist families who live in the same area with the intent of living missionally in their communities. When Rock the Block ends, the connections and the Gospel conversations are just getting started.
We are praying for and working to have over 15 Rock the Block sites in neighborhoods from Opelika to Auburn to reach 120 families and over 250 children, including the ones on your street and in your neighborhood.
