WE CAN'T WAIT FOR CAMP 2020!  We are excited to announce we've secured 48 more spots for overnight camp this year! We are heading back to Marannook in Lafayette, AL for a 4th year!

Camp is one of the most exciting weeks of the year. For the last three years, we’ve gone to Camp Marannook. This presents an opportunity for children in our ministry to build lasting relationships with people they will see every week at church gatherings.

We offer both an overnight camp for rising 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. Day camp is offered for rising 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders. You’ll note that 3rd graders have the opportunity to choose either day camp or overnight because it is a transitional year.

As a part of camp this year, we will be recruiting college students from our college ministry to be counselors at camp in addition to the parents that will be attending. This will give us the opportunity to provide an elevated experience of camp for the campers.

The Lord works so evidently in our kids’ lives through their time in the Word and through the relationships with each other at camp, so we believe that camp is a very special place. A typical day starts with small group, 3 rotations of various activities such as archery, channel challenge, field games, cable car, low ropes, etc.. This is followed by lunch, time at the pool, snack, memory verse challenge, and team games. Finally, we’ll have dinner, worship, snack, warrior challenges for upcoming sixth graders, and a late night activity along with ending camp full of traditions like our affirmation arrows! It’s a full day of tons of fun, and all campers will receive a bag, water bottle and T-shirt as a part of camp registration fees.
