Youth Choir

The First Baptist Opelika Student Worship Choir (THE MIX) exists for the sole purpose of exalting Christ. Students from all over the area come together to join their passion for worship and ministry. The choir is for every student in grades 7–12. No special talent is required; just come as you are with a heart for worship!

Students at FBCO have discovered that honest worship lifts eyes off of self and sets them on God. Scripture's best-known worship leader, David, wrote the following:

Give honor to the Lord, you angels; give honor to the Lord for His glory and strength. Give honor to the Lord for the glory of His name. Worship the Lord in the splendor of His holiness. —Psalm 29:1–2
