Daniel: Lives of Integrity, Words of Prophecy by Beth Moore

The first portion of this study, covers Daniel chapters 1-6 and deals with Daniel’s life as he faced unbelievable pressures to compromise his faith while living in a hostile culture with many similarities to America today. Daniel models how to develop enduring integrity in an enticing world. The second portion, chapters 7-12, explores thrilling prophecies from the time of Daniel through the second coming of Jesus Christ.  It includes the prophecies that have already come true and those yet to come.

How to Study the Bible

We will be studying Ephesians using the Precept Observation Worksheet method that we did in the October Girls Night Out. This is not a Precept study however. We will divide Ephesians into twelve sessions. One week we will do the observation worksheet together. The next week, you will return and share what God has taught you that week. We’ll discuss the passage but primarily your quiet time during the week, in preparation forWednesday night, will be reflection and meditation on the worksheet. The goal is to become comfortable with the Holy Spirit as your teacher and relating what changed that week either in what you thought or did, as a result.

  • Led by Mary Ann Williamson
  • Group discussion.

1 and 2 Timothy

1 and 2 Timothy are letters that Paul wrote to Timothy, his dear son in the faith, for encouragement and instruction. It includes subjects like: false teaching, grace, encouragement, worship, spiritual leaders, money, as well as a lot of practical advice for Christian living. We will study and discuss one chapter per week.
